I wrote the song Wonderland during a walk in the park after glimpsing flashes of how alive, powerful, and beautiful nature is and how indivisibly connected to it we are.
For the UN Climate Change Conference last year (COP26) I collaborated with wonderful visual artist Geraldine van Heemstra spending a day in nature where Geraldine filled a sketchbook with a series of watercolour paintings while I performed the song. (You can see this in the video below).
The sketchbook of paintings – containing a letter from us both to world governments and a QR code that linked to the video of our collaboration – travelled to COP26 in Glasgow to help inspire climate leaders with the everyday beauty we’re counting on them to protect.
For this year’s COP27 conference we made a limited edition of 25 prints of one of Geraldine’s watercolours from the sketchbook which we will sign and number and send you with a special code to download my song Wonderland.
100% of the purchase price will be donated to the environmental charity Friends of the Earth.
